Hey Mom,
Before I get crackin’ on my advanced pathophysiology work for school I thought I would write a little something for you since it’s been a couple days and I don’t want you to think I’ve forgotten about you. I’ve done a lot of thinking in the past week with ups and downs and doubts, etc. I think things are turning around a bit for me now though. I just needed to step back and think about why I have been doing what I have been doing with myself.
Everyone loses sight of their goals at some point I’m sure. I generally don’t use an all-inclusive term like “always” or “never” but I feel pretty confident that there are moments of doubt in everyone’s journey toward accomplishment. Anything that is worthwhile will challenge each of us and cause us to think about our own capabilities and take an inventory of what we believe we are capable of. The difference is that oftentimes we are capable of much more than we believe we are. Of course there are exceptions to almost everything but I’m talking about the general rule.
This is a short post but I need to get some research done for school so I’ll write more later—probably tomorrow (which means later today since it’s past midnight). Talk to you then.
